Statement from Local Solar for All Regarding the CPUC’s net metering proposed decision

From Rob Sargent, Campaign Director, Local Solar for All:

"We are deeply disappointed by the California Public Utility Commission staff's proposed decision on the successor to the state’s solar net-metering program. Research clearly shows that California's lowest-cost path to a clean energy grid must include dramatically more rooftop and community solar. Today's proposal deals a major blow to the continued growth of rooftop solar, fails to adequately address community solar, and dims the state's prospects for a least cost and equitable transition to a resilient and carbon-free energy system that benefits all Californians."
